An experienced management professional and certified leadership coach, Pradeep focuses on working with organizations and leaders to enhance their effectiveness. He works with organizations on designing organizations, developing people strategies, aligning structure, capabilities and talent to business strategy. He also works with leaders in enhancing their effectiveness and help them realize their potential through individual coaching. Pradeep also works on enhancing leadership team performance through team coaching.
As a coach he works with senior leaders, typically CEOs, CXOs and one down to CXOs in large organizations, in varied industries: financial, pharmaceutical, engineering, chemicals, information technology, business process management, logistics etc. Pradeep has been certified as a Master Coach by International Coach Federation, USA. Some of his clients have been, or continue to be, large Indian Groups like Aditya Birla, Godrej Industries, and multinationals like BASF, Colgate Palmolive, Citigroup, IFC, Morgan Stanley, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, Roche, Sanofi and many others across a wide variety of sectors.
Pradeep works on helping individuals and teams realize their potential. Hs approach is to uncover the motivation of his clients relative to their articulated coaching goals, explore with them their perspectives, beliefs, values that impact consistent and sustainable achievement of their goals, facilitate their uncovering more enabling perspectives and beliefs which are aligned to goal achievement and their growth, and encourage them to take actions they deem fit to help them achieve their goals. Pradeep also acts as a conscious keeper till the client experiences the benefit of new actions and behaviors and movement towards their set goals. Pradeep has coached more than 180 individuals and groups of leaders.
His vast experience as a corporate leader of twenty seven years provides him a good understanding of the context in which his clients operate, the kind of expectations and demands on leaders today, enabling him to ask pertinent questions that help his clients explore who they are as persons and how they interface with their context, leading to more effective change from within. Most of his corporate experience involved leading the HR function in various Citigroup entities in India and overseas and also being the CEO of Mercer Consultants in India. He also had a stint in managing the talent inventory process for Citigroup globally and assessing, through one on one interviews, senior leaders considered as high potentials within the Citi world globally against leadership competencies defined by Citi.
Pradeep has also served on boards of listed companies and is a trustee on the board of SNEHA (NGO working with urban communities in the health space) and advisory committee of Akanksha Foundation in addition to mentoring founders of many organizations in the social impact sector.
