Dr. Wheda A. Carletos, Ph.D. is a dynamic Leadership Coach with a passion for developing individuals and teams into high-performing, purpose-driven leaders. With a rich background in public health, education, and executive coaching, Dr. Carletos is known for her collaborative, results-driven coaching style, empowering leaders to maximize their potential and drive meaningful impact.

A cum laude graduate of Georgia State University, Dr. Carletos earned a Master’s in Public Health from Emory University and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Mercer University. Her career began in community outreach, working as Director of Programs and Services for the Arthritis Foundation. She later transitioned into education, serving as a teacher, administrator, and curriculum leader, ultimately founding one of Atlanta’s top-performing elementary schools, KIPP Vision Primary School.

Since 2017, Dr. Carletos has served as a Leadership Coach for KIPP Foundation, coaching emerging leaders, executives, and teams. A certified executive and personal coach with an International Coaching Federation (ICF) credential, she specializes in helping leaders navigate transitions, combat Imposter Syndrome, and elevate team performance from good to great. Her coaching philosophy is rooted in self-discovery, strategic decision-making, and authentic leadership, ensuring individuals and teams thrive at their highest potential.

Outside of her work, she finds joy in family life with her husband, Carlos, and their three children, Sydney, Kennedy, and Clark.
